A Kreluna concept · not client work

BEHIND THE DESIGN / App / car rental

GiroThe car takes center stage. The terms stay in view.

An imaginary rental company presented as a digital showroom: display the cars, compare their features, and make the simulated total clear.

THE IMPRESSION WE WANT TO CREATE
«I can compare the cars and understand what I am choosing before I confirm.»

Who it is for
People choosing a vehicle based on their needs, rental length, and cost.

A design intention, not a promise
This is the intention behind the design. Perception also depends on the audience, content, and service. It is not a result measured through testing or market research.

02 / CHOOSING THE COLORS

More than a palette.
A clear message.

For each color: its inspiration, the impression we want to create, and its role in the interface.

Graphite

#111415
Why we chose it
It allows the cars' bodywork and shapes to stand out.
What we want to communicate
A technical, contemporary tone.
Where it is used
The app's main surface.

Amber

#FFC467
Why we chose it
It creates a bright signal on dark surfaces.
What we want to communicate
Energy and a clear cue to act.
Where it is used
Buttons, selections, and highlighted rates.

Anthracite

#1C2121
Why we chose it
It separates cards from the background without changing the visual tone.
What we want to communicate
Order and visual solidity.
Where it is used
Vehicle cards and information panels.

Warm white

#F1F1E9
Why we chose it
It distinguishes information from the background without a dominant cool tint.
What we want to communicate
Clear, readable content.
Where it is used
Main text and data.

Colors have no universal meaning and do not guarantee sales. Here, the associations are grounded in the imagery and the project's identity. Contrast, interaction states, and readability must be checked in actual use.

03 / TYPE AND IMAGERY

The tone comes through
in the details, too.

Arial and sans-serif typefaces

Compact headings and readable numbers support an interface built for comparison. Personality comes from composition, imagery, and accents, not decorative typefaces.

The photography

Vehicle photographs are the starting point. Cards and comparisons should add specifications and rates, rather than asking users to infer everything from an image.

Visual detail from the Giro project
Concept imagery, not photography from a client project.
04 / PAGES AND USER JOURNEY

Every page has a purpose.

The structure separates information and guides decisions. In apps, these sections represent screens or steps, not necessarily separate web addresses.

  1. 01

    The cars

The showroom presents the vehicles, while the comparison places useful specifications side by side.

  2. 02

    Book

The car, date, duration, and location are brought together in one flow to make the simulated terms clear.

  3. 03

    Simulated total

The rate and number of days explain the calculation before confirmation.

  4. 04

    My trip

The summary brings back the vehicle and selected details; editing lets users revise the simulation.

The main user journey

  1. 01Compare the cars
  2. 02Set up your rental
  3. 03Check the total
  4. 04Confirm the simulation
